The small and rural church is the “bread and butter” of the North American Lutheran Church. Whether these congregations are located in farmlands, suburbs, towns or even in cities, these churches are vital in building relationships, connecting with communities and making disciples.

In order to strengthen these parishes for mission, the national renewal team of the North American Lutheran Church has developed a “live version” of the small and rural church ministry course. The purpose of this class is to assist our faith communities to renew and grow more effective in their ministry

Join us March 17, April 21, May 19 and June 16, as we focus on four vital topics: specific issues facing the small and rural church, the importance of relationships and equipping, being and making disciples, and the use of digital and technology.

The course will be held on Zoom from 7-8:30 p.m. EST. If you have questions, please contact the Rev. Brad Hales, Director of Renewal Ministries at [email protected].
