In February, NALC pastors, lay ministers and seminarians gathered together for the NALC Ministerium, led for the first time by Bishop Dan Selbo. During the gathering, Bishop Selbo shared about his first several months as bishop, spoke about recent staffing decisions, presented his 2020 Vision, and discussed his recent challenge to deans and mission districts. There were several other presentations, including: an update on the North American Lutheran Seminary (NALS) from new president, Pastor Eric Riesen; a missions update from Pastor Gemechis Buba; an update on Lutheran Week 2020 and the call process from Pastor David Wendel; an update on current inquiries from pastors and churches seeking to join the NALC from Pastor Mark Chavez; and an update from Hahn Financial.
