In September, faithwebbing.com will resume its “Trot” through the Old Testament Bible course during its monthly webinars. Webinars are scheduled the second Tuesday of the month from 2 to 3 p.m. (EST). Contact Gary & Laurie at [email protected] to get on their email distribution list. They will send you the webinar links each month. They will also post the links on the NALC Youth Workers Facebook Group.

The all NALC Nexus Institute week was a great success in summer 2019. The intention is to offer the event again in 2020. Contact Gary & Laurie at [email protected] to be placed on an interest list. Note, the event was maxed out in 2019 and it is anticipated it will max out again in 2020. The Nexus Institute is a week-long theological event for your deeper thinking high school students. The event comes at no cost other than transportation to and from Grandview University in Des Moines, Iowa.

We are starting three initiatives this school year:

  1. We are looking to identify all of the paid youth staff serving NALC congregations.
  2. We are also looking to identify all of the NALC congregations that offer a preschool or grade school.
  3. And, we are looking to identify mission district or individual church events (service trips, annual gatherings, confirmation retreats, etc…). The hope is to help publicize such events, help churches network and aid others in starting events of their own.

If you have knowledge pertaining to any of the above, please send us ([email protected]) names and email addresses so we can learn of their ministries.
