In order that we may obtain this faith, the ministry of teaching the Gospel and administering the sacraments was instituted. For through the Word and the sacraments,.… the Holy Spirit produces faith, where and when it pleases God, in those who hear the Gospel. — Article V

Invitation to Attend

The webinar is open to all members of the NALC (high school Junior through adult) interested in or who have been identified by their pastor or congregation as someone who exhibits gifts for ordained ministry.

“Answering Questions about Answering God’s Call” is a webinar to provide time for brothers and sisters in Christ who, like you, wish to hear how God is calling them, how to listen to His call, and how to begin to prayerfully reflect on how God wants to use them and their gifts to His glory.

Did you know that most pastors never had a lightning strike like Martin Luther or a blinding experience like the Apostle Paul when it came time to discern a call to ministry? Thinking about God’s call to go into the ministry of Word and Sacrament is a journey and begins for people in a variety of ways. Yes! Every disciple, just like you, is called through the waters of Holy Baptism to be about worship and service to our Lord. Yet, God does call and set apart some of His disciples to serve Him vocationally in the area of Word and Sacrament Ministry.

IS THIS YOU?
