This collection of videos featuring NALC Bishop John Bradosky, NALC executive staff members, and other leaders are published regularly. Personal stories from local congregations, international missions and personal ministry experiences are also featured.
Reflections on what the word “discipleship” really means, the vision for the NALC, and what it means to be “mission-driven” are just a few of the many topics you will hear about.
As the NALC strives to be Christ centered, mission driven, traditionally grounded and congregationally focused, we hope and pray these resources will prove to be noteworthy and helpful tools in your discipleship journey.

What began as a very creative and quirky way to help raise funds for local mission work has become a ministry opportunity at All Saints in Arlington, Texas: A chance to feed hungry children in Jesus’ Name with the hope of beginning intentional conversations in the home and among people, having the larger Kingdom vision of not trying to “grow membership” at All Saints, but to reach out with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Reading the Word of God, a daily Bible reading guide for use over the next three years, was conceived and prepared as a result of ongoing discussions between representatives of the NALC, the Lutheran Church–Canada (LCC), and the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS). The reading guide includes monthly calendars with daily readings starting in January 2018 and continuing through December 2020. As a companion to the daily Bible readings, 52 suggested weekly readings (one for each week of the year) are offered from the book, Luther and the Scriptures by Johann Michael Reu. It’s been such a blessing to watch the NALC’s new starts and global projects grow. Adding new global workers each year and renewing congregations are just several other areas of our mission-driven efforts. But we understand how important it is to be able to continue to launch and sustain these mission driven efforts in the future.
By partnering with the Great Commission Society for just $10 each month (individual) or $100 per month (congregation), you will provide up to three years of transitional or emergency aid for missions, as well as start-up funds for new mission starts in North America. 100% of your pledge goes directly to these mission projects.
