We are excited to announce Pastor Tony D. Ede’s new role as a Communications Specialist for the North American Lutheran Church (NALC). Pastor Ede will be serving in the NALC’s Dallas offices and will also provide additional support to the General Secretary.

A graduate from Waldorf College with degrees in electronic and multimedia communications, Pastor Ede also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary and a Master of Business Administration degree from Upper Iowa University. He has previously served congregations in Kimballton, Webster City, and Manchester, Iowa. Beyond pastoral roles, he’s an active community volunteer, a certified EMT and firefighter, and enjoys car shows and golf.

Pastor Ede shares, “We were obedient to God’s will and His calling, especially when this opportunity came our way. I have full confidence in the dedicated staff of the North American Lutheran Church. My commitment to Jesus Christ, the Holy Scriptures, and the Lutheran Confessions will guide me in this new venture, strengthened by God’s grace and love.”
