UPDATE (10/11/16) from Kevin Herr at Water Mission on the situation in Haiti:

I hope you are well. I wanted to give you a quick update on our response in Haiti. We have two teams deployed. One team went by plane to Jeremie, the other team is in Les Cayes. The team in Les Cayes plans to have three new systems installed by the end of the day today. Here is a new update video from Water Mission president, George Greene IV.

Join me in prayer today for our team and for the country of Haiti.  You have likely seen the extent of devastation in the news outlets. Here’s an article I read this morning about the impending Cholera threat.  The reports from our contacts on the ground is that it is worse than you can imagine.  Hundreds of thousands of homes destroyed, more than one thousand lives lost, food plots destroyed, and reports of Cholera starting to spread.  It is bleak, and the Haitians need the love and light of Jesus Christ to shine on them.  Please pray for our ambassadors for Christ today as they work.
