Women of the NALC (WNALC) – an organization for all women and women’s groups of the North American Lutheran Church.
We are a ministry of the North American Lutheran Church, offering support and guidance to the local congregational women’s groups in their efforts to grow in Faith and Mission, through Prayer and Evangelism, with the Bible as the ultimate Authority of God.
WNALC encourages its members in their congregations to:
A Place for women to find spiritual guidance, support, mission and fellowship.
WNALC will link NALC women’s groups together as a community of faith, hope, and love as they focus on their individual organization and to assist them in God’s mission, studies of His Word, service to others in Christ’s name, and fellowship with each other and other Lutheran women.
A governing board, known as The Women’s Council (TWC), was elected during the 2011 NALC Convocation.
There are eight members, with half the council to be elected in alternating years at an annual meeting.
The Woman's Council adopted a provisional constitution during the 2011 NALC Convocation. The provisional constitution has been mailed out member congregations. Included with the provisional constitution, are guides and timelines for making proposals, to each congregational women’s group.
A final constitution will be voted on at the annual meeting in August, 2012.
If you congregation has not received the provisional constitution and associated documents please contact Jeanne Wallace at 830.998.2300 or use the email above for assistance.
The WNALC is developing a proposed budget. Our goal is to operate with as little expense as possible, but still be able to provide resources and information to the women of the church.
We do not want ask for a specific offering to the WNALC, but rather, we ask that your group prayerfully consider a gift to the WNALC.
All donations should be sent directly to:
